Overview
Veleclo's 12x18 frame swaps traditional glass for shatter-resistant plexiglass, keeping the same wall or tabletop use but with less breakage risk. Hanging hardware in the box works for both vertical and horizontal placement.
Picture frames this size mostly differ on the glazing, and this one swaps out glass for plexiglass, which cuts weight and the risk of a shattered mess if it comes off the wall. It is sold as a single 12x18 unit in black, with hanging hardware included for either orientation.
- 12x18 size in black
- Shatter-resistant plexiglass, not glass
- Vertical or horizontal hanging hardware included
- Sold as a single frame
Who it's for
Buyers framing a 12x18 print or poster who want an unbreakable-feeling glazing over traditional glass will find this useful, especially in a kid's room, hallway or shared-wall rental.
Pros and cons
- Plexiglass will not shatter like glass
- Hardware included for either orientation
- Lightweight PVC frame body
- Plexiglass can scratch more easily than glass
- Only sold in black
- No mat or matting options mentioned
Performance notes
The frame body is PVC rather than wood or metal, which keeps it light for its 12x18 size, while the plexiglass front panel protects the print without the breakage risk of glass. Hanging hardware in the box supports both vertical and horizontal mounting, so the same frame works either way without extra parts.
