ZVOX AccuVoice AV835 Dialogue Clarifying Soundbar

Overview

The ZVOX AccuVoice AV835 is a low-profile soundbar built around patented dialogue-clarifying technology, offering 20 levels of voice boost alongside dual built-in woofers, aimed at anyone who struggles to follow TV dialogue.

Reviewer feedback backs up the core promise here, clearer speech, but is split on the rest of the package: several found the music and bass reproduction better than expected for a compact TV speaker, while others called the bass weak or rattly for the price and flagged a near-total lack of setup documentation for the 20 clarity settings.

• 20 levels of AccuVoice dialogue boost
• Dual woofers in a sub-2 inch cabinet
• HDMI, optical, and analog cables included
• 17.6 inch wide, fits under most 32 inch+ TVs

Who it's for

Viewers who have trouble understanding TV dialogue, including those with mild hearing loss, who want a simple HDMI ARC hookup. Less suited to anyone who wants Bluetooth streaming or reference-quality bass.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

AccuVoice technology isolates and boosts voice frequencies across 20 adjustable settings, while Output Leveling reduces the volume spikes that come with loud commercials. Dual woofers sit inside a cabinet less than 2 inches tall, and PhaseCue virtual surround aims to add a sense of width from the single 17.6 inch wide bar, which fits under most TVs 32 inches and larger.
