Overview
Built around the same R50 body, this bundle swaps in an 18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM lens plus a Deco Gear deluxe case, a 128GB SanDisk card, a spare battery and charger, and a cleaning cloth.
The camera and lens combination gets consistent praise, but this specific bundle draws a lower average rating than the plainer kit because of accessory mismatches: filters shipped in the wrong thread size, a spare charger that does not fit the included battery, and one report of a moldy screen protector. The seller replaced missing or broken items, including a torn case zipper, when contacted.
- 24.2MP sensor with 6K oversampled 4K at 30p
- 12fps mechanical and 15fps electronic shutter burst
- RF-S 18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM lens plus charger, battery and strap
- Deco Gear deluxe case and 128GB SanDisk card in the bundle
Who it's for
Works for buyers who want the R50 and its kit lens bundled with a case and card in a single checkout, as long as they are ready to double-check or skip the bonus extras. Buyers who specifically need the filters and spare charger to work out of the box should read the accessory complaints first.
Pros and cons
- 12fps mechanical burst with Dual Pixel AF II
- Seller replaced defective or missing bundle items
- Bundle shipped 52mm filters for a 49mm lens
- Second charger incompatible with the included battery
- Body feels lightweight rather than solid, one owner said
Performance notes
The 24.2MP sensor and DIGIC X processor pull 4K video from a 6K oversample rather than a simple crop, and Dual Pixel CMOS AF II covers the frame for continuous autofocus.
