Overview
Panda Drum makes this Pro model as a larger steel tongue drum with a black alloy steel body and a rich, resonant tone. A music book, mallets, finger picks and a carrying bag round out the set.
The larger shell and the accessory set cover a first session from the first strike. The lack of a listed note layout is the main unknown.
Who it's for
A home player or outdoor musician will use the larger body and carrying bag. Buyers who need documented notes or a lighter drum should look for a model that gives that detail.
Pros and cons
- Larger body than the Plus model
- Four-piece accessory set
- Alloy steel construction
- Lifetime warranty listed
- Note layout not listed
- Weight and care details missing
Performance notes
Each tuned steel tongue vibrates when struck and the hollow body resonates to enlarge the sound, so a bigger shell gives more room for the tone. The listing names a tuning reference but no note layout.
