Overview
A 50 count pack of size 1/0 octopus style hooks from Avlcoaky, each pre rigged with a steel wire leader. Carbon steel construction, marketed for catfish.
The wire leader is built onto each hook, so the pack suits anglers who want ready to fish bait rigs rather than tying their own leaders. Only one hook size is included.
- 50 hooks per pack
- 1/0 hook size
- Steel wire leader on each hook
- Carbon steel construction
Who it's for
Aimed at catfish anglers running bait rigs who want the wire leader already attached. Less suited to anglers wanting to tie their own leader length or needing multiple hook sizes.
Pros and cons
- Wire leader pre attached to each hook saves rigging time
- 50 hooks per pack for bulk use
- Carbon steel construction
- Only 1/0 size offered in this pack
- Leader length is not stated
Performance notes
The wire leader connects the hook to the mainline, adding resistance against bite offs during a fight, while the octopus bend keeps a wide gap for hooking live or cut bait.
