Overview
The Electric KF100248-01 is an AC-powered specialty tool built into a metal housing, weighing just under 94 pounds. Its size and power source point to a shop-based unit meant to stay in one place rather than travel to a jobsite.
At 29 x 22.83 x 17.32 inches, this reads as a floor-standing or benchtop unit rather than a handheld one. The category listing is generic ('Specialties'), and with no attribute detail beyond power source, weight and material, the exact function isn't spelled out here, so confirm it against the listing photos before buying.
- AC power source
- 93.8 pound metal housing
- 29 x 22.83 x 17.32 inch footprint
- Built for fixed shop placement
Who it's for
This suits a workshop or garage setup with a fixed spot for a corded, metal-bodied tool and the floor space to accommodate its size and weight. It is not a fit for anyone wanting something portable or battery powered.
Pros and cons
- Runs on standard AC power, no battery to charge
- Metal build adds weight and stability for stationary use
- At nearly 94 pounds, it is not something you relocate often
- Corded design ties it to a power outlet
- Exact function beyond 'specialty tool' is not detailed in the listing
Performance notes
Running on standard AC power keeps this tool tethered to an outlet, trading portability for continuous power without battery charge cycles. The metal construction and near-94-pound weight give it the mass to sit stable during use rather than needing separate bracing.
