Overview
Six plastic picks, six different tip shapes: this Viking set is built for the crevices a detailing cloth cannot reach, from panel gaps and buttons to emblems and perforated seats.
The variety of tip shapes, from a pointed tip to a flat scraper, is the actual value here rather than any single pick, since different crevices such as vents, emblem edges and button gaps call for different profiles. Plastic construction matters for a different reason: picks meant for delicate surfaces like emblems or perforated seats need to avoid scratching, which a metal pick would risk.
- 6 pack of 5.75 inch plastic detailing picks
- Tip shapes range from pointed to flat scraper
- Textured pencil grip handle on every pick
- Usable on cars, motorcycles, boats and RVs
Who it's for
Detailers and owners doing interior deep cleaning around panel gaps, buttons, cup holders, consoles, emblems and perforated seats are the fit, on cars, motorcycles, boats or RVs. Not a tool set for anyone who only wipes down flat surfaces or wants power tools.
Pros and cons
- Six different tip shapes cover narrow and wide gaps
- Plastic construction avoids scratching delicate trim or emblems
- Pencil grip handle design aids control in tight spaces
- Weaker than metal picks on hardened buildup
Performance notes
Each of the six picks in the set has a different tip, from a fine point to a flat scraper edge, so the set covers narrow crevices and wider gaps without switching tools mid job. The plastic material is soft enough to work around perforated leather, emblems, glass and trim without the scratch risk a metal pick carries, while the textured pencil-grip handle keeps control in tight spaces.
