Overview
Moving fast over wet ground is what this Salomon tactical boot is made for, with GORE-TEX waterproofing in a textile combat boot. Quicklace tightens with one pull, and a rubber outsole grips.
Waterproof protection with sneaker-like agility suits jungle and desert training in warm conditions. Uniform compliance and insulation are not listed, so check unit rules first.
Who it's for
Warm and wet operations, field training and fast hikes suit a light sealed boot. Cold-weather duty calls for an insulated model.
Pros and cons
- Fast one-pull lacing
- Agile, low-bulk build
- Weight not listed
- Insulation not mentioned
- Regulation compliance not stated
Performance notes
Quick adjustments come from the Quicklace system, which spreads tension evenly. The GORE-TEX membrane blocks water while the textile upper lets heat escape in warm climates.
