Overview
New parents get an infant seat that installs on a stay-in-car base with a one-click LATCH, or with a seat belt in taxi mode. Maxi-Cosi Mico Pro adds a ventilated ClimaFlow shell and plush head and lumbar inserts.
Quick LATCH clicks and visible belt guides make moving between cars and taxis simple. Stroller compatibility is mentioned only in general terms, so check the stroller before buying.
Who it's for
Newborn to infant travel is the use case, with a carry handle for moving baby while asleep. Parents wanting one seat to last into the toddler years should choose a convertible model.
Pros and cons
- One-click LATCH base
- Belt guides for taxi mode
- Ventilated shell helps baby stay cooler
- Washable, dryer-safe cushions
- Rear facing only
- Compatible strollers not named
- Outgrown at the upper weight limit
Performance notes
Fit depends on a correct recline and harness height, which the three-position base helps set. Venting in the shell lets air move around baby, reducing sweat on longer drives.
