Overview
The Konssy changing pad is a muslin cotton, waterproof pad sold in a two pack and marketed as portable, roughly 30 inches on its longest listed side. At about 0.3 kilograms per pad, it is light enough to fold into a diaper bag.
Muslin cotton is a lighter, more breathable weave than the padded vinyl used in some fixed changing pads, which fits the portable, fold up use case this listing points to. The 17 inch figure alongside the 30 inch length likely describes the pad's width rather than a height, since a flat changing pad would not have a meaningful third dimension, so treat the width as the more reliable figure.
- Waterproof muslin cotton construction
- Sold as a two pack
Who it's for
Good for parents who want a lightweight, foldable pad for diaper bags or travel rather than a padded stationary changing table pad. Less suited to anyone wanting a thick cushioned pad for a fixed changing station.
Pros and cons
- Lightweight at about 0.3 kilograms per pad
- Waterproof layer for on the go changes
- Sold as a two pack for one to wash while using the other
- Listed dimensions include a figure that likely describes packaging rather than the flat pad size
- Muslin cotton offers less cushioning than a padded stationary pad
Performance notes
Muslin cotton against a waterproof backing is meant to contain leaks during a quick change, while the light 0.3 kilogram weight per pad keeps it easy to fold and carry. Buying two in a pack means one can stay packed in the bag while the other is in the wash.
