Overview
A carbon composite shell with a peak and a drop down sun visor is what this Airoh adventure helmet is built around. Chin and upper vents pull air through, the visor flips down against glare, and a quick release buckle secures the strap.
Dual sport riders get one helmet that handles highway glare and dusty trails, with a tool free visor and room for a comms unit. The listing gives two different weights, so the exact figure for your size is unclear.
Who it's for
Touring riders on adventure bikes who meet sun, dust and rain in one day will use every feature. Track focused motocross riders should look at a dedicated offroad helmet.
Pros and cons
- Drop down UV sun visor
- Visor removes without tools
- Ready for a communication system
- Quick release buckle
- Intercom unit not included
- Two different weights listed
- Only three shell sizes
Performance notes
Visibility depends on the anti-fog treated visor and the sun visor cutting glare without swapping lenses. Airflow comes from chin and upper vents working together, which matters at the low speeds of trail riding. Fit across head sizes is set by the three shell sizes.
