Overview
Despite sitting in a changing subcategory, the Chicco 00079642610070 is a large assembled unit measuring 33.5 inches long by 28 inches wide by 46 inches high and weighing 33 pounds, built from a mix of alloy steel, plastic and polyester.
The 46 inch height and steel frame point to this being a standing changing station or nursery organizer rather than a simple pad, so buyers picturing a flat changing pad should check the dimensions closely before ordering.
- 33.5"L x 28"W x 46"H
- 33 pound assembled weight
- Alloy steel, plastic and polyester build
- Chicco brand
Who it's for
Parents setting up a dedicated nursery corner who want a tall, sturdy changing station with a steel frame will get the most from this size. Anyone needing a compact pad for a small bedroom or shared space should measure the 46 inch height against their room first.
Pros and cons
- Steel frame adds stability during use
- 33 pound weight keeps it planted
- Mixed materials combine durability and softer polyester elements
- 46 inch height and footprint require dedicated nursery space
- Not a portable or travel option
Performance notes
At 33 pounds assembled, the unit is heavy enough to stay put during diaper changes without tipping, which the alloy steel frame supports. The 33.5 by 28 inch footprint is sized for a standard baby, not a compact travel pad.
