Overview
Not a slim dress watch, the KOSPET Tank is a rugged round smartwatch with a stainless steel case and a liquid silicone strap. It pairs over Bluetooth with Android phones and iPhones for notifications and calls, and tracks routes with its own satellite receiver.
Independent satellite tracking with offline maps lets an outdoor user record routes with the phone left behind. Gaps remain in the sizing data, since thickness and weight go unstated, so fit on a slim wrist is a guess.
Who it's for
Weekend trails, open water and long rides suit a watch built around waterproofing and multi-system navigation. Shoppers wanting a lightweight, low profile watch for the office should look at slimmer models.
Pros and cons
- Four satellite systems for positioning
- Offline maps for trails
- Bright always on AMOLED screen
- Long gap between charges
- Case size and weight not listed
- Heart rate named only in the title
- Third party apps not mentioned
- Rugged styling will not suit dress wear
Performance notes
Battery life depends on how much the GPS receiver and the always on display run, since both draw from the same cell. Positioning improves by combining several satellite systems, which helps under tree cover. Water ratings cover swimming and diving pressure, but the seals around buttons and charging contacts decide protection over years of use.

Frequently asked questions
Does the KOSPET Tank T4 need the phone for GPS?
No. It has built-in GPS and supports offline maps, so routes can be tracked without the phone. Notifications and calls still need a Bluetooth connection to the phone.
Does the KOSPET Tank T4 measure heart rate?
The title mentions heart rate and sleep monitoring. The spec list names blood oxygen, sleep duration and stress, without further detail on heart rate features.
