Overview
A laundry room with a gas line is where this LG dryer belongs, drying big loads in an oversized drum and steaming out wrinkles. Its EasyLoad door drops down like a hamper for loading or swings open for unloading.
Smart Pairing and sensor drying take most of the guesswork out of each load, especially for owners of a matching LG washer. A gas supply is required, and the warranty is short at one year.
Who it's for
Suits busy families doing bulky loads like bedding and towels, especially with a compatible LG washer beside it. Homes without a gas line need an electric dryer instead.
Pros and cons
- Very large drum
- Two-way door for loading and unloading
- Steam refresh reduces wrinkles
- Sensor drying adjusts time
- Requires a gas connection
- Cycle count not listed
- Deep footprint needs room
Performance notes
Dry times depend on the moisture sensors reading the load and ending the cycle when clothes are dry, which avoids over drying. Steam adds brief moisture to relax fibers, so wrinkle results also depend on unloading promptly.
