A heavy-duty long-arm mount for very large TVs, with a sliding arm that slides side to side. It is far too large for ordinary screens and its arm needs a lot of wall space.

Overview
A sliding arm system on a fixed wall plate lets the TV move sideways along the wall as well as extend outward. The articulating alloy steel arm swivels, tilts and levels the screen, and the plate stays put once mounted.
The reason to buy is the support for giant screens with a very high load rating and long reach. The limit is that the mount is built for a narrow band of large sizes, and the listing gives no hardware or wall type details.
Who it's for
Picture a media room with a very big screen that has to shift sideways to suit the seating. Owners of ordinary TVs, or walls that cannot take a large load, should choose a smaller mount.
Pros and cons
- Holds very large TVs
- High weight rating
- Sliding arm adjusts side to side
- Swivel, tilt and level adjustment
- Only suits very large screens
- Hardware kit not listed
- Wall type not listed
- Needs wide wall space
Performance notes
Sliding the arm moves the TV sideways, so the anchor point is fixed once at the right studs while the screen is positioned later. Leverage at full reach multiplies the load on the wall fasteners, so stud placement matters. Tilt and level adjustments correct the angle after hanging.
