Overview
Columbia brings back the Ricochet core under a hybrid cover that glides through the front and flips at the back. A shiny compound finish adds length for house shots.
Skid flip motion suits bowlers who like a sharp move on typical league patterns. Core numbers are not given, and heavy oil is outside its comfort zone.
Who it's for
League and recreational bowlers on house patterns suit this ball, along with fans of the original Ricochet. Heavy oil specialists should choose a stronger cover.
Pros and cons
- Classic skid-flip motion
- Hybrid cover for versatility
- Polished for length
- Two year warranty
- Core numbers not listed
- Not for heavy oil
- Drilling not mentioned
Performance notes
A hybrid cover mixes pearl length with sanded grip, so the ball glides then snaps. The core shape sets the flip at the breakpoint. Compound polish delays the read in the front.
