Overview
A hot bedroom in summer is where this Mellow comforter is aimed: a lightweight polyester layer with an airflow fill and two sides tuned for cooling. It is a single comforter piece that goes into a home washing machine whole.
Hot sleepers get a thin, light layer with cooling on both faces and a fill made for airflow, and the whole thing goes through a home washer. No weight, no fabric breakdown per side and no cooling measurement are listed, so how cold it feels is not documented.
Who it's for
Warm sleepers with a king or California king mattress get a thin top layer that also works for naps and reading. Cold sleepers and anyone wanting winter loft should look at a heavier fill.
Pros and cons
- Sized for both king and Cal king
- Dual-sided cooling control
- Machine washable as one piece
- Hypoallergenic and skin friendly per listing
- Item weight not listed
- Thin profile adds little winter warmth
- Cooling claim has no measured rating
- Single grey colorway in this listing
Performance notes
Cooling here depends on how freely air moves through the fill and how quickly the face fabric draws heat from skin. A thin, light build traps less body heat, so the effect is strongest in a warm room and weakest under extra blankets. Machine washing the whole piece avoids a cover to strip and refit.
