Overview
This TL-OS001 is a corded electric sander with a 5-inch pad, running on 120 volts at 3 amps and spinning up to 13,000 RPM. At 3.4 pounds it is light enough for one-handed sanding sessions.
The 13,000 RPM speed and 3-amp draw put it in line with standard orbital or disc sanders sized for finish work rather than heavy stock removal. Being corded means steady power for the length of the job, with no battery runtime to track.
- 5-inch sanding pad
- 13,000 RPM speed
- 120V, 3 amp corded electric motor
- 3.4 pound weight
Who it's for
Fits someone doing finish sanding on furniture, trim or small woodworking projects who has access to an outlet. Less suited to anyone who needs to work cordless or far from power.
Pros and cons
- Light at 3.4 pounds for extended use
- Corded power avoids battery runtime limits
- 13,000 RPM suits finish sanding
- Cord length limits how far you can work from an outlet
- Not a cordless option for mobile jobs
Performance notes
At 13,000 RPM and 3 amps, the motor is sized for smoothing and finish work rather than stripping heavy material fast. The 3.4-pound weight keeps arm fatigue down on longer sessions, and the corded 120-volt connection means output does not fade the way a battery would.
