Overview
A 14 piece fishing tool kit built around an 11.4 inch stainless fillet knife with sheath and a pair of pliers with lanyard, plus a digital fish scale, lip gripper, hook remover, line scissors, scaler, sharpening rod, gloves, towel and carry bag.
The kit bundles the small tools anglers repeatedly reach for into one bag rather than one standout piece. The listing rates the digital scale to 110 lbs and the fillet knife's handle as non slip rubber.
- 14 pieces including knife, pliers, scale
- 11.4 in stainless fillet knife with sheath
- Digital scale rated to 110 lbs
- Includes storage bag and gloves
Who it's for
Anglers who want a stocked tackle bag without buying each tool separately, or shoppers looking for a fishing gift. Not aimed at anyone who already owns quality individual tools and just needs one replacement.
Pros and cons
- Covers most routine fishing tasks in one bag
- Fillet knife and sharpening rod included
- Digital scale reads to 110 lbs
- Compact bag keeps tools organized
- Pliers feel flimsy to some buyers
- Individual tool quality is basic, not premium
Performance notes
The fillet knife and sharpening rod pair a stainless blade with a 10 inch rod to keep an edge, while the scissors are meant for mono, fluorocarbon and braided line. The scale, gripper and hook remover cover routine catch handling, and the retractor and lanyard let tools clip to a belt during use.
