Overview
This iBayam set bundles three 8.5 inch all purpose scissors in pastel pink, blue, and green, each with a 2.5 millimeter thick stainless steel blade and a soft rubber comfort grip built for left- or right-handed use.
The extra blade thickness is the real differentiator here, since most all purpose scissors run thinner and dull faster on cardboard or denim. Buyers back that up, using one pair for gardening, one for fabric, and one for general cutting rather than sharing a single overworked pair.
- 3-pack, 8.5 inch scissors in pink, blue, and green
- 2.5mm thick stainless steel blades
- Rubber comfort grip, left- and right-handed
Who it's for
Fits households, dorm rooms, and classrooms that want three color-coded pairs to split between paper, fabric, and heavier jobs like garden stems or cardboard, rather than one pair everyone fights over.
Pros and cons
- Thicker 2.5mm blade cuts cardboard, denim, and garden stems
- Three color-coded pairs cover different jobs without cross-contamination
- Rubber comfort grip works for left- or right-handed users
- Not intended for cutting hair
- Three colors may be more pairs than a single-user household needs
Performance notes
The 2.5 millimeter blade is thicker than a standard scissors blade, which is what lets it hold an edge through cardboard, burlap, denim, and light garden stems instead of just paper. The rubber comfort grip and ambidextrous handle shape are meant to reduce hand fatigue during longer craft or yard sessions.
