Overview
Not a performance running shoe, the New Balance unisex model is a running-inspired lifestyle sneaker with suede and nylon over ABZORB cushioning. The spec sheet lists water resistance.
Water resistance plus cushioning make it an easy daily shoe in mixed weather. The page mixes in a winter boot description, so details like insulation are uncertain.
Who it's for
Commutes and casual wear in damp weather suit a water-resistant cushioned sneaker. Shoppers seeking a winter boot should confirm the product first.
Pros and cons
- Arch support listed
- Description conflicts with specs
- Heavy for a sneaker
- Closure listed as snap
Performance notes
Cushioning comes from ABZORB foam absorbing impact at the heel. Water resistance depends on the suede and nylon upper, which sheds light rain but is not described as sealed.
