Overview
Bowlers who like the Phaze II shape but need more length get the same colors with an upgraded pearl reactive cover here. Storm's Velocity Core revs early yet holds the backend in check, and a Power Edge finish adds shine.
An early-revving core with a pearl cover gives a smooth start and a stronger move at the end. It works as a partner to a sanded ball. The listing does not say which oil volumes it suits.
Who it's for
League and tournament bowlers rounding out an arsenal with a cleaner, later ball will find it fits. Those on heavy oil need a sanded cover first.
Pros and cons
- Early, consistent revving core
- Cleaner pearl cover
- Power Edge finish
- Lane condition not stated
- Core numbers not listed
Performance notes
The Velocity Core starts rolling early, which steadies the midlane, while the pearl cover with Power Edge delays friction. Together they give an assertive but controlled backend. Wipe the ball after each shot to protect the cover.
