Overview
Husqvarna designs the TS 120 as a lawn tractor with a Briggs gas engine, a pedal operated hydrostatic drive and an ergonomic seat. Grass discharges to the side as standard, with an optional collector and BioClip cover.
Pedal speed control and a comfortable seat suit weekly mowing on a modest lot. Mulching and bagging need the optional parts, which are not part of the base machine, and the specs do not give hours or tow ratings.
Who it's for
Typical suburban yards where an owner wants a seated mower with an easy pedal drive are the target. Anyone needing mulching or bagging out of the box must add the optional kit.
Pros and cons
- Pedal operated hydrostatic drive
- Side ejection standard
- Optional BioClip mulching
- Gas engine, no charging
- Collector and BioClip are add-ons
- Fuel tank size not described
- No tow rating listed
Performance notes
A hydrostatic drive adjusts ground speed continuously with the pedal rather than shifting gears, which suits changing grass density. Engine power and deck width set how much lawn is cut per pass. Without the optional collector or BioClip kit, clippings leave through the side chute.
