Overview
A matte black sliding shower door sized for 56 to 60 inch wide, 72 inch tall openings, built with 1/4 inch clear tempered glass and a reversible left or right sliding panel for walk-in shower remodels.
- 1/4 inch SGCC tempered glass rated to break into rounded pieces instead of sharp shards
- Double layer waterproof sealing strips at the door edges and wall joints
- Reversible sliding panel installs to open from either side
- Aluminum frame with quiet glide rollers resists rust better than steel
Who it's for
Homeowners and contractors fitting a 56-60 inch shower opening who want a modern matte black look without a custom glass shop price. Best handled by two people, or a contractor, since the tempered glass panels are heavy to hang.
Pros and cons
- Looks higher end than its price once installed
- Reversible panel fits left or right opening layouts
- Seller replaced units that arrived with shipping damage
Performance notes
The 1/4 inch SGCC tempered glass and aluminum frame carry a double layer of waterproof sealing strips at the door edges and wall joints, and the bottom track is designed to keep water from escaping onto the floor. Rollers are built for a quiet, steady glide rather than the catchy motion of cheaper track hardware.
