Overview
The Calamus BV-LI1B2BL-2700 is a fillet knife with an ABS and TPR handle, sold as a single unit in blue and black, with an overall length of 16.5 inches. It is built for cleaning and filleting catch rather than general kitchen use.
The 16.5 inch figure covers the whole knife rather than blade length alone, and no seller description is attached to break that number down, so exact blade length is not confirmed here.
- ABS and TPR handle
- 16.5 inch overall length
- Blue / black color
- 1 count
Who it's for
Anglers who fillet fish dockside or at home and want a grippy handle for wet hand conditions. Not the choice if you need a confirmed blade length rather than an overall figure.
Pros and cons
- Soft grip TPR overlay for wet hand use
- Blue and black color is easy to spot in a tackle bag
- Sold as a single unit so there is no guessing on quantity
- Blade length alone is not given, only the 16.5 inch overall figure
- No sheath or storage detail is listed
Performance notes
The TPR overlay on an ABS handle core is a common approach for fillet knives because it stays grippy when wet, which matters more here than blade steel details that are not listed.
