Overview
Trimming the whole family's hair at home is what this Andis kit is set up for, pairing a corded pivot-motor clipper with a trimmer for detail work. Guide combs, shears and a soft storage case round it out.
Corded power means no battery to run down mid-cut, and the pivot motor runs quietly, which suits home haircuts. Clipper comb lengths are given only by number, and the cord limits movement around the chair.
Who it's for
Suited to parents and DIY groomers handling several heads at home. Barbers wanting cordless freedom and fade-specific guards should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Clipper and trimmer in one kit
- Quiet pivot motor
- Corded, no battery to charge
- Stainless steel blades
- Cord limits movement
- Clipper guard lengths not listed
- Only four clipper combs
Performance notes
Cutting power comes from the high-torque pivot motor holding a steady blade speed, so the clipper moves through thick hair without stalling. Blade sharpness and regular oiling with the included blade oil govern how cleanly it cuts over time.
