Overview
Commuters looking for a budget 7-speed ebike will find the Askgo G26 built around a 1500W peak (750W rated) hub motor and a 48V 10Ah removable battery, with a claimed 65 mile range and dual suspension.
That gap is worth weighing against expectations, since most other feedback on assembly and value is positive.
- 1500W peak, 750W rated hub motor
- 48V 10Ah removable battery, up to 65 mile range
- Dual suspension: front fork and seat post
- 95% pre-assembled with a 36-month warranty
Who it's for
Budget-focused commuters who want a 7-speed ebike with dual suspension and don't need to hit a guaranteed top speed. Not the right pick for anyone buying specifically for the advertised 1500W power figure or a confirmed 25 MPH top end.
Pros and cons
- 7-speed drivetrain and dual suspension for mixed terrain
- Priced competitively for the feature set
- 400-lumen headlight for visibility
- One buyer measured motor output well under the advertised 1500W figure
- Top speed reported below 25 MPH by more than one reviewer
- Isolated reports of a stuck horn button and an intermittent screen
Performance notes
Askgo lists the motor at 1500W peak with 750W rated output, powered by a 48V 10Ah battery rated for up to 65 miles and a 4-5 hour recharge. Front fork and seat post suspension aim to smooth out bumps, while dual disc brakes, anti-slip tires, and a 400-lumen headlight cover stopping power and low-light visibility.
