Overview
A soil-based and species-specific probiotic powder for dogs, blending canine gut strains with soil-based and ancestral wolf-strain bacteria plus organic pumpkin fiber. Vegetable flavored, sold in a 45 gram container, mixed into food to support digestion and gut flora.
Proactive Paws layers three separate bacterial blends, a canine heritage mix, a soil-based mix and a wolf-strain ancestral mix, alongside pumpkin fiber, rather than relying on one dominant strain.
- 45 gram container
- Vegetable flavored powder
- Targets digestion, immunity and gut barrier support
- Suitable for all dog breed sizes
Who it's for
Dog owners wanting a broad, multi-source daily probiotic powder for general gut maintenance. Not suited to owners needing a formula directed at a diagnosed digestive condition.
Pros and cons
- Combines three distinct bacterial blends plus soil-based strains
- Includes organic pumpkin fiber alongside the probiotics
- Powder format mixes into any meal
- Listed for all dog breed sizes
- CFU counts are split across many strains rather than concentrated in one
Performance notes
The three blends aim to diversify the gut bacteria a dog receives in one dose, while the organic pumpkin powder adds soluble fiber that can support stool consistency. Being a powder, it mixes directly into a dog's existing food rather than requiring a separate chew or capsule.
