Overview
Folding it open in seconds without tools, you get a steel-framed fabric crate with mesh walls and two doors for travel or the living room. Leather-wrapped corners resist scratching, and it folds flat for the trunk.
Light weight and fast setup make it easy to bring along for road trips and stays. Fabric walls suit calm, crate-trained dogs, not dogs that chew through barriers.
Who it's for
Road trips, camping and hotel stays with a relaxed dog suit a folding soft crate. Anxious or destructive dogs need a wire or heavy-duty crate.
Pros and cons
- Folds flat for storage
- No tools to assemble
- Light enough for one person
- Two doors for easy entry
- Fabric can fail with heavy chewers
- Fabric spec conflicts in listing
- Not for unsupervised long stays
Performance notes
The steel frame holds the shape, while fabric and mesh walls keep it light and breathable. Mesh lets air flow so the dog stays cool in a car. A chewing or panicking dog can tear fabric, which a wire crate would resist.
