Overview
This is a cordless electric grill cleaning brush from TemptLock, model F06, built around a rechargeable 4000mAh battery, a stainless steel bristle head and a two-speed motor meant to replace manual scrubbing on grill grates, griddles and oven racks.
It runs at 500 RPM for routine cleaning or 800 RPM for heavier grime, and the listing states it is compatible with gas, charcoal and electric grills as well as cast iron and flat top surfaces. A built-in LED lights the grate as you clean, and the brush head detaches for a dishwasher cycle when it is done.
- Two speeds, 500 RPM and 800 RPM
- 4000mAh battery rated for about 90 minutes of runtime
- Detachable, dishwasher-safe stainless steel bristle head
- Digital battery display and built-in LED light
Who it's for
Fits anyone who currently scrubs a grill by hand and wants to cut that time down, especially owners of larger grates or grates that see heavy use. It is less useful for someone who already owns a similar electric brush or only grills a handful of times a year.
Pros and cons
- High-torque motor strips heavy grease and rust quickly
- Two speeds for light upkeep versus deep cleaning
- Detachable head is dishwasher safe
- Built-in LED helps spot missed residue
- Power switch can bump on and send the brush head flying
- Replacement heads are not easy to source through the seller
- Basic printed instructions, per one buyer
Performance notes
A digital display tracks the remaining charge on the 4000mAh battery, which is rated for around 90 minutes or six to eight cleaning sessions between charges.
