Overview
FWFX packs a dance mat, a host with a disco ball lamp and two wireless controllers into a plug and play set for the TV. A preinstalled SD card holds the dance and sports games, and a card reader allows expansion.
Everything needed to play is in the box, including anti-slip socks and the HDMI cable, so setup is short. The limitation is the age confusion and the host that plugs into a TV, which ties play to the living room.
Who it's for
Kids and adults who like active, music based games on the living room floor. The set suits two players at a time. Anyone wanting online play or app downloads should look at a different system.
Pros and cons
- Everything in the box
- Offline plug and play
- Two wireless controllers
- Anti-slip dance socks included
- Needs a free TV input
- Age fields differ
- Two players only
- PVC mat takes floor space
Performance notes
A host unit connected by HDMI shows the games on the TV, and the mat senses steps while controllers handle menu choices. Preloaded games run from an SD card and music can be added with the reader. Anti-slip socks improve grip on the mat.
