Overview
Not a TV for a typical living room wall, the BRAVIA Five at this size is a home theater screen that fills a big room. Mini LED backlighting and Sony's XR processor handle contrast and color, and Google TV runs the apps.
A giant screen with Mini LED contrast and Dolby Vision creates a cinema feel without a projector. Placement takes planning, and the listing gives no reliable dimensions or weight.
Who it's for
Big family rooms, basement theaters and sports fans who want stadium scale get a bright, smart screen. Smaller rooms will find it too large for comfortable viewing.
Pros and cons
- Massive screen size
- Mini LED contrast
- Smooth high refresh motion
- Google TV with voice
- Needs a very large room
- Glossy screen can reflect lights
- Dimensions not reliably listed
Performance notes
Contrast comes from many small Mini LEDs that dim and brighten in zones under the XR processor's control. High refresh makes fast sports and games smooth, which matters more as screen size grows and motion crosses more pixels.
