Overview
A swappable square screen set into a gasket-mounted case defines this EPOMAKER retro board, which can trade the display for four extra keys. Foam and silicone layers muffle each keystroke, and an aluminum top panel stiffens the frame.
Nostalgic style with a fun display and quiet typing makes it a standout desk centerpiece. It is large and heavy, and the battery is sized for a day with screen and lighting on.
Who it's for
Writers, office workers and casual gamers who like retro design suit this keyboard. Esports players may prefer a faster dedicated gaming board.
Pros and cons
- Swappable screen for GIFs and status
- Full size layout with number pad
- Quiet lubed switches
- Heavy, stable build
- Large desk footprint
- Battery needs frequent charging with screen on
- Higher latency than gaming boards
Performance notes
The gasket mount and dampening layers turn harsh clacks into muted thuds. The aluminum top plate cuts case flex, while the plastic chassis absorbs ping. Wireless battery life depends heavily on screen and RGB use.
