Overview
A home cook who bakes individual desserts and serves dips gets four colorful stoneware ramekins in this Mason Cash set. Each one is embossed with meadow flowers and can go into the oven, the microwave and the dishwasher.
Oven to table stoneware means one dish for baking and serving. The floral pastel colors suit spring tables and gifts. The listing gives no maximum oven temperature, so check before broiling a creme brulee top.
Who it's for
Dessert bakers and hosts who like decorative serveware will use them often. People wanting matching plain white ramekins or lids should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Oven, microwave and dishwasher safe
- Embossed floral design
- Four pastel colors
- Max oven temperature not listed
- Colors may not suit every table
Performance notes
Stoneware heats gently and holds warmth, which helps custards bake evenly and holds dips warm at the table. Embossed sides add grip when lifting from the oven with mitts.
