Overview
Spinning at 12000 RPM off a 3 amp corded motor, the DCA ASA125 sander draws power from an outlet rather than a battery.
A 3 amp motor at 12000 RPM puts the ASA125 in line with compact electric sanders meant for surface prep and finishing rather than heavy stock removal. Being corded trades portability for steady power that does not fade as a battery drains. Amazon's listing does not specify pad size or sanding pattern, so check the product photos for that detail.
- Corded electric motor
- 3 amp draw
- 12000 RPM speed
Who it's for
Users doing sanding work near an outlet who prefer not to manage battery charge, and who want a compact 3 amp tool rather than a larger stationary sander. It fits touch up and finishing tasks more than heavy stock removal.
Pros and cons
- Corded power avoids battery runtime limits
- 12000 RPM motor speed
- Pad type and size not specified in the listing
Performance notes
At 12000 RPM the ASA125 spins fast enough for quick material removal on finishing work, and the 3 amp corded motor keeps that speed constant rather than tapering off like a battery powered unit under load.
