Overview
Not a backlit LED panel, this LG OLED evo lights every pixel on its own, so blacks switch fully off. A Brightness Booster lifts highlights, and four full speed HDMI ports with high VRR serve consoles and gaming PCs.
Pixel level contrast and wide format support make films and games look their richest here. In a room full of sunlight, reflections on the glossy panel can intrude.
Who it's for
Home theater evenings and multi console households get the most from the ports and contrast. Sunny rooms may suit a brighter Mini LED set.
Pros and cons
- True black contrast
- Dolby Vision and Atmos
- Four HDMI 2.1 inputs
- High VRR for PC gaming
- Glossy screen reflections
- OLED care needed for static images
- Stand dimensions need a wide surface
Performance notes
Self-lit pixels dim individually, avoiding the halos that backlit TVs show around bright objects. The processor upscales and adjusts picture by content and room light. VRR matches refresh to frame rate for tear-free play.
