Overview
A lake, a large pool or a saltwater bay is the place for this brushless racing boat, which has a self-righting hull and breathing and flashing lights. The kit includes a spare propeller, bumpers and tools.
Speed and a spare parts kit make it a serious toy for teens and adults. The limitation is that it needs open water and a bit of care, since the listing gives no run time.
Who it's for
Hobbyists who want speed on open water and like having tools and a spare propeller in the box. The listing says saltwater use is possible. Small kids and shallow ponds are a poor match.
Pros and cons
- Brushless motor for speed
- Tools and spare propeller included
- Lights for visibility
- Waterproof for saltwater too
- Run time not listed
- Needs open water
- Remote batteries separate detail unclear
- Not for young children
Performance notes
A brushless motor and three cell battery deliver high speed, and the self-righting design rolls the hull back upright after a flip. Silicone bumpers protect the hull in knocks. The spare propeller and nut allow field repairs.
