Overview
FishBites 0101 is a gel-format fish attractant sized 12 inches by half an inch, sold two pieces to a pack in a flesh and orange color combination. The compact size suggests a strip meant to be cut down and threaded onto a hook rather than used whole.
Gel-format attractants are built to release scent steadily in the water rather than washing off in one burst like a liquid dip, and the flesh and orange coloring mimics natural bait tones that show up well against dark bottoms. Two pieces per pack is a small quantity, so expect to reorder if you fish it regularly rather than treating this as a season's supply.
- Format: gel strip
- Size: 12 in x 0.5 in
- Color: flesh/orange
- Pack of 2
Who it's for
Bottom or bait anglers who want a scented strip alternative to natural bait and are comfortable cutting a 12-inch strip down to hook size. Not a bulk buy for anglers fishing multiple rods over a full season without reordering.
Pros and cons
- Gel strip releases scent gradually
- Flesh/orange coloring mimics natural bait
- Cuttable size fits multiple hook setups
- Only 2 pieces per pack
- Will need reordering for regular use
Performance notes
Gel-format strips release scent gradually rather than all at once, which keeps bait working longer between casts than a quick liquid dip. At 12 by 0.5 inches, one strip cuts into several hook-sized pieces, but with only two per pack that stretches across a limited number of trips.
