Overview
Not a TV meant to vanish into a black rectangle, the Gallery TV ships with a snap-on white frame and a wall bracket so it hangs like a picture. A matte Mini LED screen shows art when idle and streams Ultra HD when on.
Art mode, a matte screen and the included frame make it a design piece for living rooms where a dark slab would look out of place. Gamers and HDR fans will find the panel basic.
Who it's for
Design minded living rooms and bright spaces get art on the wall and a glare resistant picture. Console players chasing fast motion should look at a gaming TV.
Pros and cons
- Frame and wall bracket included
- Matte screen cuts reflections
- Mini LED backlight
- Large art library
- Standard refresh rate
- Dolby Vision not listed
- Some art needs a subscription
Performance notes
Contrast comes from the Mini LED backlight, which lights the screen in small zones for brighter highlights and deeper blacks. The matte coating diffuses window glare, which matters most in sunny rooms where the art mode runs all day.
