Overview
A 26 inch full-suspension mountain bike with an 18.5 inch high-carbon steel frame, 21-speed derailleur gearing and mechanical disc brakes, aimed at teens and adults riding trail, gravel or snow.
The 26x4.0 inch fat tires carry reflective strips and are built for grip across mixed surfaces, and Ecarpat ships the bike 85 percent pre-assembled. One buyer's package arrived without the seat, so it is worth checking box contents against the listing on arrival.
- 26x4.0 inch fat tires
- 18.5 inch high-carbon steel frame
- 21-speed derailleur gearing
- Mechanical disc brakes, ships 85 percent assembled
Who it's for
Works for active teens or adults wanting a durable commuter or trail bike at a budget price. Buyers who want a fully assembled bike straight out of the box should budget time for the remaining setup and double-check all parts are included.
Pros and cons
- Full suspension smooths rough trail and gravel
- Wide gear range for climbs and descents
- Fat tires with reflective strips for grip and visibility
- At least one buyer received the bike without a seat
- Seller response to a missing-part issue was slow
Performance notes
The front forks and rear shock absorbers are built to soften bumps off-road, while the 21-speed derailleur gives a wide gear range for climbs and descents. Mechanical disc brakes are meant to provide consistent stopping in wet or loose conditions.
