A reasonable low-cost wired headset for phone and tablet use, but the inline controls being phone-only is worth knowing before it ships to a desktop setup.

Overview
A foldable, over-ear wired headphone with an in-line mic and volume control, built around a 3.5mm plug and a 4.9 foot braided cord for school and travel use.
The in-line multi-function button and volume control only work on phones and tablets, the listing is explicit that desktops and some laptops will not respond to them, so volume on a computer has to be adjusted through the device itself. The 120-degree curved plug and braided cord are aimed at surviving repeated folding into a bag rather than desk use.
- 3.5mm plug with 120 degree curved connector
- In-line mic and volume, phone and tablet only
- 4.9ft tangle-resistant braided cord
- Foldable with 90 degree rotating ear cups
Who it's for
Students and travelers who need a basic wired headset for calls and listening on a phone or tablet, where the inline mic and volume buttons will actually function. Not a fit for primarily desktop or laptop use, since the inline controls are disabled there.
Pros and cons
- Inline mic and volume work on phones and tablets without setup
- Foldable frame for bags and travel
- Braided cord resists tangling
- Adjustable headband and rotating cups fit multiple head sizes
- Inline volume and mic button do not work on desktops or some laptops
- Needs a 3.5mm jack or an adapter on devices without one
Performance notes
Sound reaches the device through a standard 3.5mm plug bent at 120 degrees to reduce strain at the jack, run through a nylon braided cord rated to resist tangling over its 4.9 foot length. The ear cups rotate 90 degrees and the headband adjusts, which is what lets the pair sit flat when folded and fit a range of head sizes when worn.
