Overview
The Corsair Skiff 100 is a wired, quiet key gaming keyboard with IP53 spill and dust resistance, aimed at shared living spaces where a loud keyboard would be a problem.
Corsair markets it toward dorm and apartment use specifically, pairing low noise keys with a detachable palm rest and a media dial for quick volume control. It sits in the budget tier of Corsair's keyboard range, wired only, with no wireless option.
- Low-noise keys for shared living spaces
- IP53 spill and dust resistance
- Detachable palm rest with rubber surface
- 10-zone RGB with a media control dial
Who it's for
Gamers and remote workers sharing a room, dorm or thin walled apartment who want quieter typing than a standard mechanical board, plus anyone who wants spill protection near a desk drink setup. Not for buyers wanting wireless connectivity or hot swappable switches.
Pros and cons
- Low-noise keys suited to shared rooms and dorms
- IP53 rated against spills and dust
- Detachable full-size palm rest with rubber surface
- 10-zone RGB with a dedicated media dial
- Wired only, no wireless mode
- Not positioned as a hot-swap or high-end board
Performance notes
The key switches are tuned for low noise while keeping the travel and feedback intended for gaming response, and the IP53 rating covers everyday spill and dust exposure rather than full submersion. A detachable, rubber surfaced palm rest spans the full width of the board for extended sessions, and 10-zone RGB lighting runs independently of the media dial, which handles volume in one twist. The keyboard connects over a wired USB cable only.
