Overview
A compact 10.2 x 7.6 inch mouse pad from ZapDesk (model ZD015) built around a gel wrist rest with a contoured dip. The fabric top is paired with a rubber base for grip, aimed at people who spend long stretches clicking and scrolling.
Unlike a flat pad, the wrist cushion is the main feature here, shaped to cradle the wrist rather than just prop it up flat.
- 10.2 x 7.6 inch compact size
- Gel wrist rest with contoured dip
- Non-slip rubber base
- Smooth fabric tracking surface
Pros and cons
- Heavy, grippy base that will not slide during use
- Compact footprint fits tight desks
- One reviewer felt the wrist rest is better suited to larger hands
- Small size limits mouse swipe room compared to larger pads
Performance notes
The gel cushion is designed to conform to the wrist under pressure and spring back into shape once released, so support stays consistent rather than compressing flat over time.
