Overview
Brooklinen makes this Luxe duvet cover from cotton sateen, a weave with a smooth, slightly lustrous face. Corner ties hold the comforter insert in place inside, and a button closure seals the open end.
Sateen gives a smooth, silky hand that suits sleepers who dislike a crisp, matte sheet feel. The listing covers fabric and size but leaves out wash temperature, drying guidance and any matching shams.
Who it's for
Dorm beds and kids rooms with a twin or twin XL insert get a cotton cover that ties to the corners. Sleepers who prefer a crisp percale feel should choose a different weave.
Pros and cons
- All-cotton sateen fabric
- Corner ties hold the insert
- Button closure at the open end
- Covers both twin and twin XL
- Single cover per pack, nothing else
- Drying guidance not listed
- Only one dimension set for two sizes
Performance notes
Sateen floats more yarn on the face of the fabric, which produces the smooth feel and soft sheen. How evenly the insert spreads overnight is governed by the corner ties, so tying all four before closing the buttons decides whether the fill bunches.
