Overview
A dust seal and a padlock eye are the working parts of this water resistant tool box, which Lgsixe sells for use with the RIDGID Pro Gear System. Integrated organizers hold small parts, and a removable utility tray lifts out to carry only the tools a job needs.
Weather and dust protection plus a lockable eye make it a reasonable home for hand tools and fasteners on a jobsite. Lgsixe, not RIDGID, makes it, and the listing never explains how it connects to the modular system or what it is built from. Treat the RIDGID compatibility as a seller claim until you can confirm it.
Who it's for
Tradespeople already carrying RIDGID modular storage and needing one more water resistant box for small parts will get the most from it. Shoppers who want a branded RIDGID box or published specs before buying should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Water resistant body with dust seal
- Padlock eye for basic security
- Removable tray carries tools to the jobsite
- Integrated organizers for small parts
- Third-party maker, not a RIDGID product
- Title says black, specs say gray
- Dimensions, material and latch type not listed
- Modular fit with RIDGID stack unconfirmed
Performance notes
Protection from rain and jobsite dust depends on the seal, which the listing names but does not rate. How it travels with the rest of a RIDGID stack depends on its connection points, which the listing does not describe. The removable tray and fixed organizers govern how quickly small parts come to hand.
