Overview
Not a pitcher, this Brita unit attaches to the faucet and filters water as it runs. The listing names sediment as its purification type and plastic as the material.
The reason to consider it is that filtered water is available at the tap with no refilling. The limitation is the sparse listing: faucet compatibility and contaminant reduction are not stated.
Who it's for
Households with a standard faucet who want filtered water without a pitcher. Anyone with a spray-head or unusual faucet, or who needs chemical reduction claims, should confirm fit and features first.
Pros and cons
- Filters at the tap
- No pitcher to refill
- Faucet compatibility not listed
- Contaminants reduced not listed
- Included parts not listed
Performance notes
A faucet filter treats water as it flows, so flow rate and contact time matter more than with a pitcher. Sediment filtration catches particles rather than dissolved chemicals. The listing gives a capacity figure but no flow rate.
