Overview
A corded, two speed professional animal clipper with a detachable blade system, built for heavy or matted coats and multi animal grooming use rather than occasional touch ups.
This is the Turbo A5, Oster's higher torque version of its long running A5 clipper line, built for professional groomers or owners who regularly clip thick or matted coats. It ships with a 1 year parts and labor warranty.
- Corded, two speed professional clipper
- Detachable blade system
- Stainless steel blade, carbon housing
- 1 year parts and labor warranty
Who it's for
Groomers or pet owners handling frequent, heavy duty clipping across various animals get the most from it. Someone wanting a lightweight cordless trimmer for quick touch ups should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Detachable blade system for easy swaps
- Two speed motor for varying coat thickness
- Stainless steel blade
- 1 year parts and labor warranty
- Corded only, no cordless option
- At 2.05 lbs, heavier than many home trimmers
Performance notes
The two speed motor and detachable blade system are what let it handle thick coats, while the carbon housing and stainless steel blade are built for repeated professional use rather than light home grooming.
