Overview
Kohler designed the Pinoir as a space-saving basin with box-band lines and a double-ridge edge. The listing presents it as a wall-mount sink that can be paired with a matching Pinoir shroud, while the manufacturer copy calls it a pedestal lavatory.
Its compact footprint and transitional styling suit a powder room where floor space is tight. Data in the listing conflicts in several places, from the basin shape to the faucet drilling, so verify the details with Kohler before buying.
Who it's for
Small half baths and guest rooms with little floor area suit this basin. People who want the pedestal, faucet drilling and shape spelled out clearly should choose a listing with consistent details.
Pros and cons
- Space-saving design for powder rooms
- Double-ridge edge detailing
- Transitional lines suit many bath styles
- Pop-up drain type listed
- Pedestal or shroud not listed as included
- Faucet hole count conflicts across the listing
- Shape listed as both oval and rectangular
- No care instructions given
Performance notes
As a wall-mount basin, its support comes from the wall rather than the floor, so the condition of the wall behind it decides how secure it feels. The pop-up drain lets the bowl hold water for washing.
