Overview
A Pee Wee size composite football built for young players learning the game, with a tackified cover meant to help small hands grip and control the ball.
Sized down for youth play rather than high school or adult use, this ball pairs a composite leather cover with a nylon wound carcass for shape retention and double leather lacing for grip control. It ships deflated, so a pump is needed before first use.
- Pee Wee size for youth players
- Composite leather cover
- Tackified grip surface
- Nylon wound carcass for shape retention
Who it's for
Suited to young or beginner players who need a smaller, easier to grip ball for practice and pickup games. Not sized for high school, college or adult play.
Pros and cons
- Pee Wee sizing fits younger players' hands
- Tackified cover aids grip
- Double leather lacing for added control
- Ships deflated with no pump included
- Not sized for older youth or adult players
Performance notes
The tackified composite cover is meant to improve grip in small hands, while the nylon wound carcass and double leather lacing are built to hold shape and air pressure under repeated use. Because it ships deflated, it needs inflating before the first practice or game.
