Overview
Wilson makes the GST TDJ as a junior size leather football for younger players. The listing confirms a stitched leather build in brown and little else.
Leather in a junior size gives young players a feel closer to a game ball than a rubber toy. Weight, ages and grip details are missing, so sizing up needs care.
Who it's for
Junior players moving up to a leather ball for practice or games will find it a step up. Older players need a larger official size ball.
Pros and cons
- Junior size for younger hands
- One year warranty
- Age range not specified
- Weight not listed
- Few construction details given
Performance notes
Grip and feel depend on the leather cover, which tends to improve as it breaks in. Stitched construction holds the panels together through regular play. Correct inflation helps the ball hold shape and fly true.
